This event is specifically designed for PLHIV, TINGS, and others facing clothing insecurity in an LGBTQ setting. Our process includes a one-on-one intake, a thorough needs assessment, followed by a field trip with a Galaei staff member to shop in an inclusive, affirming space. To make this experience even more special, each client is granted a $50 voucher to assist with clothing purchases. This initiative focuses on empowering individuals through the provision of necessary resources, catering to their specific needs, and promoting an environment of acceptance and inclusivity. Just like our weekly “Media Monday,” where we foster a relaxed atmosphere with classic horror movie screenings, “Wardrobe Wednesday” is another step in our mission to provide support and acceptance to our community.

Thriller Thursday: Join us for Thriller Thursday, a daring platform to delve into Queer horror films, analyzing the narratives and their impact on HIV representation. We dissect the characters, integration of positive roles, film plot, and personal takes on the film. In addition, we offer comprehensive resources through Galaei, including Oraquick, case management, access to other resources and care, Covid testing, complimentary Transpasses, and refreshments. A safe space for exploration and discussion awaits you.

Fun Game Fridays: Come be part of Fun Game Fridays, a dynamic platform designed to enhance your engagement with the community through entertaining activities. Our mission is to bridge the gap between isolated groups, using games as an interactive conduit. Our doors are open every Friday; we’ve been successful in averaging 7 visitors each week. Our services expand beyond our physical reach as we also connect with players online, broadening our positive impact. We focus on addressing social determinants of health and obstacles to HIV prevention service engagement. Services include referrals for food insecurity, homelessness, mental health issues, among others. To promote safe practices, we also distribute condoms.
