Thriller Thursday: provides a safe space to watch Queer horror films and dissect the narrative and how queer influences have been present in media even in horror films. We also discuss character development, the plot of the film, and personal interpretations of the film. The Queering hour expanded beyond Galaei when the Operations Manager Nelson Torres-Gomez (they/them) took this group to Starr Garden. which is a recreational center for youth where although it may vary depending on what film is being watched we have an average of 8 people weekly stop by and indulge in the Horror Films with groups as big as 30 especially around the Fall Season. We also offer resources provided through Galaei such as Oraquick, Covid Tests, Free Transpasses, Food and Refreshments.
