Claudia Zumaeta Castillo, originally from Peru, is a community health and prevention researcher with a focus on Mental Health, Violence, HIV/AIDS, and Substance Use. For the past 4 years, she has been working with the Latine/x immigrant community in Philadelphia. Prior to moving to the U.S., she worked as a psychologist, program manager, and sex educator with youth in Lima, Peru.
Claudia graduated from the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia with a BS in Psychology and MS in Neuropsychology. She holds an MPH from Drexel University where she is currently a 3rd year Ph.D. in Public Health.
